Here's a peek inside the studio as a Manatee Chair takes shape. A lump of clay gets shoved and mushed around until it resembles some earlier rough thumbnail sketches. Somehow it never looks like the sketch! After the clay hardens, it's time for the acrylic paint which brings the whole piece to life. From start to finish the whole process can take 2-3 weeks. Anchovies are extra!
