Lushly painted, a mermaid and underwater friends drift along in a rich glaze of turquoise tones. Highly detailed with metallic accents, a resin coating on top gives the illusion of a deep sea environment. A must for any Captain's quarters!

Inside the drawer an Octopus quietly lurks as a single tentacle undulates to the top. Custom drawer pulls and metal corners accent the soft gradation of airbrushed tones on the chest.

JELLY ROLL - FOYER TABLE

Jellyfish make for great illustrative interpretations with color and shape. Utilizing pearlescent and metallic paints, Jim's airbrushed jelly leads a diverse school of aquatic friends including porkfish, a stingray and a loggerhead turtle. The gossamer stingers sparkle in the light which is heightened by a protective coating of gloss resin on the table top giving the illusion of the ocean depths.

SUPPORT GROUP III - ALLIGATOR FOYER TABLE

One of our most popular designs, our Alligator Support Group painting is applied to a rustic table with distressed wood top. Lots of great wood grain shows through on the imagery which gives the island critters lots of interesting visual texture. Kathleen and Jim work in tandem on the original artwork with a mix of airbrush and standard brush work. A final coat of protective gloss is applied to top.

Captiva Island is the annual landing point for many sea turtles looking to deposit their eggs. Hatchlings scurry to the safety of the water's edge. Several different techniques are at work on this unique aquatic side table. The frothy edge is our custom studio recipe utilizing acrylic paint, airbrush medium, silicone and metallic paint to achieve the incoming tide.
